Funding
World Medics, Inc. is funded solely through private donations. All donations are tax-deductible. God uses your prayerful continued financial support to change the lives of countless people, both young and old. The directors on the WMI Board carefully examine every application for assistance, to ensure that the funds requested will be spent wisely.
Because of the generosity of individuals who care and who contribute to one or more of the approved projects, WMI can provide assistance to a wide range of needs. Contributions may be designated to any of the following categories or to the listed ongoing projects.
General Fund
Donations to the General Fund account are used for a variety of needy projects which have
been approved by the WMI board, such as orphanages, humanitarian aid, school renovation,
mission hospitals, etc.

Evangelism Fund
Donations to the Evangelism Fund are used to promote education, enabling
individuals to be self-supporting and to spread the Gospel message. This will include
assisting in the building of churches and schools.

Funds in this account are used for approved needy students who have no other financial support. All funds are sent directly to the educational institution in which the student is

Nicola Memorial Fund
The Nicola Memorial Fund is expended primarily in support of overseas dental missions. It is in memory of A. Z. Nicola, DDS, who supported some of the earliest dental missions, and in memory of his grandson, G. Royce Nicola, DDS, who gave his life in dental missions.

Oral Medicine Fund
This provides assistance to oral medicine and orofacial pain (subspecialties in dentistry), related needs such as lecture audio-visual aids, clinic supplies, research needs, and travel to professional meetings. It also helps with funding for trips to mission clinics.

Appleton's Fund
This fund was set up in thankfulness to Clarence Appleton and Bertha Appleton Glanzer, who devoted their lives to teaching children. Clarence did some of the initial research on the use of background music to enhance learning in the classroom, and was involved in all kinds of fun activities for kids. Bertha taught grade school, helped develop a Cerebral Palsy Learning Clinic for children, and later developed a classroom for emotionally handicapped children. Together they started the "Adventurers" section of the SDA Pathfinders in the early 1950's in Yucaipa, California. Funds are used to aid education, music, prayer groups, and missions, especially for children.
